Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship Programme Alumni Tracer Study

Tetra Tech

Wallis Social Research (Wallis) in partnership with the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) have been engaged by Tetra Tech to conduct this survey on behalf of the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT).

The study seeks to survey alumni of MFAT-funded New Zealand Scholarships. This includes current and previous programmes, such as the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships, New Zealand Aid Scholarships, New Zealand Development Scholarships, New Zealand Regional Development Scholarships, New Zealand Pacific Scholarships, New Zealand ASEAN Scholarships, New Zealand China Doctoral Research Scholarships and the Colombo Plan.

The study aims to understand alumni experiences during and after their studies. This will help improve scholarship programmes and alumni engagement in the future.
