Ros Lording to Present at Asia Pacific Social Marketing Conference 2026
Wallis is pleased to share that Research Director Ros Lording will be presenting at the Asia Pacific Social Marketing Conference (APSMC) 2026, following the acceptance of a paper co-authored with Michelle Lim, CEO and Scientific Chair of Ending Loneliness Together.
Hosted by the University of Western Australia, APSMC brings together academics, practitioners, policymakers, industry leaders and researchers from across the region to explore some of society's most pressing challenges. The conference focuses on advancing social change through evidence-based approaches, with key themes spanning public health, social equity, sustainability, community resilience and behaviour change.
The conference reflects a renewed focus on the Asia-Pacific region, recognising the unique social, cultural and policy environments that shape public wellbeing and social outcomes across diverse communities. By bringing together experts working across sectors and disciplines, APSMC aims to foster collaboration and practical solutions to complex social issues.
Ros and Michelle's paper contributes to the growing body of work examining social connection and loneliness, areas of increasing importance as organisations, communities and governments seek new ways to improve wellbeing and strengthen social cohesion.
Presenting at APSMC provides an opportunity to share insights with leading social marketing and behaviour change professionals from across the Asia-Pacific region, while contributing to important discussions about how research can drive meaningful and lasting social impact.
We congratulate Ros and Michelle on the paper's acceptance and look forward to seeing their work showcased at the conference this October.
