Wallis Social Research and the 2025 Telstra Foundation Australian Youth Digital Index

Last week, the Wallis team attended the online launch of the 2025 Australian Youth Digital Index (AYDI), led by the Telstra Foundation.

Wallis was proud to support this year’s Index, contributing to a youth-led study that brings together evidence and lived experience to better understand how young Australians engage with technology. The Index explores five key pillars: access, connectivity, skills, safety and wellbeing, offering a timely snapshot of digital life for young people today.

The launch also highlighted the interactive AYDI Dashboard, developed by the Telstra Foundation to make the findings more accessible and engaging. The dashboard allows users to explore the data in depth and better understand the experiences of young people across Australia.

We value our ongoing collaboration with the Telstra Foundation and are pleased to contribute to work that centres young people’s voices and supports more informed decision-making. We encourage you to explore the full Index and interactive dashboard to learn more about the findings and their implications.
