Accessibility

We want as many people as possible to be able to take part in our surveys, including people with disability. This page explains the accessibility features built into our online surveys, and what to do if you need help or a different way to take part.

Our online surveys are designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 to Level AA, the accessibility standard used by Australian Government digital services.

What to expect

Our online surveys are designed with the following features:

  • You can complete our surveys using a screen reader or other assistive technology.

  • You can move through the survey using only a keyboard, without needing a mouse.

  • Text, buttons and answer options use strong colour contrast to make them easier to read.

  • You can increase the text size up to 200% through your browser or device settings without the survey layout breaking.

  • Our surveys work on computers, tablets and mobile phones.

  • Our surveys allow you to save and return at a later time, if you need a break.

If you need help or a different format

If any part of a survey is difficult for you to use, or you would prefer to take part in another way, please contact us. We can talk through the options available to you, such as completing the survey over the phone.
