Wallis conducts social research. This means that we gather opinions on a range of topics on behalf of all levels of government. We are not selling a product or service. We generally conduct research about health, education or transport and are keen to capture your views about these services.

If you would like your views to be included, talk to us. It is absolutely voluntary and without obligation.

Did you receive an email from us?

We will allocate specific email addresses to different research projects, but all of the email addresses will end in @wallisgroup.com.au or @wallis.social.

Did you receive a text message from us?

You may have received a text message from Wallis. We will often send SMS invitations and reminders to surveys. These messages will contain a link to the survey (wsres.au/xxx). All our SMS contain a “Click to opt out” link to stop receiving electronic communications. Please note that it can take up to 72 hours for these opt-out messages to be processed.

SMS messages amy come from a number of mobile numbers. The most common is from our WALLIS alpha tag. You will be unable to reply to this alpha tag but an opt out link should be available.

FAQs

Why did you contact me?

Wallis conducts research on behalf of a range of government and commercial organisations. Organisations often are seeking feedback about a service, perceptions regarding the implementation of a new policy or testing an idea before it becomes reality.

It is your opinion that our clients are interested in. Nothing more than that.

I am on the Do Not Call register.

We are a social research organisation and are not covered by the Australian Do Not Call Register as we are not selling a product.

Some people do not wish to participate in a survey, and to respect that point of view we have developed our own internal do not call register. We will add you to that if you ask us to by contacting us or ask us to when we contact you.

If you are added to the Wallis do not call register, Wallis will not contact you again for any research that we are conducting, even if your name is on a listing supplied to us by an organisation whose service you use. However, being on our do not call register does not preclude you from being contacted by other research agencies.

How did you get my number?

Phone numbers that Wallis uses are often provided by our clients, randomly selected from a directory or randomly generated by a computer. In all these circumstances Wallis is adhering to the privacy principals and will always protect the information provided to us.

What do you do with the information?

If you participate in a survey with Wallis, the information is used to inform decisions about government programs and initiatives. Surveys provide one of the few avenues that enable your opinions to inform decisions that can influence things such as public transport, education, health and government policy.

Your participation in a survey is always voluntary, and unless you authorise us to do otherwise, your responses are anonymous.

Are you selling something?

No. Wallis is a member of the Australian Data and Insights Association (ADIA). This is the peak industry body responsible for oversight of the social and market research industry. As part of our permission to conduct research, members of ADIA are not allowed to perform marketing. This means that at under no circumstances will Wallis sell products to respondents. It simply is not allowed.

Wallis Do Not Call Register

If you complete this form you will be added to the Wallis Do Not Call Register. Wallis will not contact you again for any research that we are conducting. However, being on our register does not preclude you from being contacted by other research agencies.
