Engaging participants and boosting response rates with video content.

Wallis conducts The Employer Satisfaction Survey on behalf of the Victorian Department of Education and Training.

The survey invites Victorian employers of apprentices and trainees to share their views of the training provided by specific Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). The survey is conducted annually and attracts responses from employers across many Victorian regions and industries.

The survey asks employers about their satisfaction with training, teaching, RTO engagement and whether training improved the skills of their apprentices and trainees. The survey results are used to improve the quality of training in Victoria and to help Victorian employers have the right people with the right skills.

For the 2020 iteration of this survey, Wallis worked with film makers to create promotional videos to share on various social media channels to raise awareness about the survey and its purpose. The survey invited over 27,000 Victorian employers to participate and achieved a strong response rate of 40%.
